What pulls at your heart strings?

What really gets to me, emotionally speaking, is animal cruelty. It's our responsibility as sapient human beings to look after animals, I believe, and never to mistreat them. I get very angry and upset when I see or hear about animals being harmed by humans, or being found suffering and have nothing done to help them. Other things that really get me are the environment, abuse, civil rights, etc.
